My name is Kim Ernst.  I was given my name by my parents.  My middle name is Lynn and that was my mother's middle name.  My first and only language is English. I don't speak any other language.  I grew up in Roseville for entire life.  I moved to Loomis about 7 years ago.  So born and raised in Roseville for almost twenty five years.  I am white, but I have whale, German and a couple of others too but I can't remember.  My culture well its pretty basic its really just simple and easy going.  I am a firm believer on family.


What is important to me.....well I have to be honest is my children, my fiance, and my family.  Material things don't mean a lot to me.  The most important thing that a  teacher could do is to listen to the child and try to connect with each and every child no matter what. 


About me, well I am 34 years old. I have been through one divorce and had two beautiful children with him.   I am with my fiance and we have been like this for like 7 years and I have two children with him.  My first two children have white and Mexican in them and my youngest have white and black.  They are so cute. I have a big family and I have 2 sisters and one brother who is like 5 years younger than me.  He actually just told us that he is having a baby.  I think it is so awesome that he is having one.  He has been through a lot and this is going to perfect for him.  


I have four children. I have a 13 year old girl, 11 year old boy, 7 year old girl and a 5 year old boy.  We live in a little house and my fiance is going to school too.  I am currently working at a private school in Roseville.  I have been there teaching Jr. Kindergarten for 4 years.  Before that I was at Granite Bay Christian Preschool in Roseville for 16 years.  I loved it there!!!  My mom is a preschool teacher there and she has been there for like 30 years.  She is the best teacher ever.  She taught me everything that I know.  My oldest sister has her own Home preschool and Daycare business that she runs out of her house.  And my other sister works at a copy and mail store.  My dad is a janitor and Mr. Fix it at my place of work.  He has been there for over 25 years.  


I am taking this course for my AA degree and I am interested in the culture and diversity because of my work but also my own home life too. With my free time I like to spend time with my fiance who does so much for me right now and my children.  I like to listen to all kinds of music, but I can't handle guitar heavy metal stuff.  I get migraines and that is a trigger for it.
